Submit your photos to the
2022 SCPARC Photography Contest!
Anyone and everyone is welcome to enter 2022 Photography Contest! There are two categories: South Carolina Reptiles and South Carolina Amphibians. Every participant is allowed to enter up to 2 photos in each category (total of 4 photos). In order to qualify, photos must include a reptile or an amphibian native to South Carolina. The last day to submit photos is November 19th. So get your photos in quick!
Photos will be displayed and judged at the 2022 SCPARC Annual Meeting on Dec. 3rd and 4th, and 1st and 2nd place winners will receive a prize! (you do not need to be present at the annual meeting to receive your prize – but we would love to see you there!)
Photo subjects should be of wild reptiles and/or amphibians native to South Carolina. Promoting ethical wildlife photography is our top priority in this contest. Photos with subjects that appear overly harassed, manipulated, or baited, will be disqualified from this competition at the discretion of the SCPARC officers.
All photos should be JPEGs and less than 10mb in size. A small number of digital adjustments are permitted such as cropping, tone adjustments, contrast, sharpening, noise reduction, and minor cleaning (i.e. removal of dust specks on the sensor). Photos that have significant digital alterations that misrepresents the subject in nature will be disqualified.
